Dogs & Owners –

As we made our way, to leave (after enjoying supper, at our local pub), we stood up, and unexpectedly, a dog barked with such ferocity, our son sat paralysed in his chair, with fear. Until that moment, the dog had been well-behaved and quietly sat underneath stools, that its owners were sitting on.

I encouraged my son, to make his way towards me, and as we left, my husband attempted to make light of the situation. Instead of asking after Alexander’s welfare, the couple completely ignored our ten year old, and tried to comfort and reassure their dog!!  The couple made excuses for their dog’s unpredictability, and the woman (half of the couple), snubbed Wayne’s friendly manner.

A prime example of people’s blinkered and narrow view of their own behaviour, when they criticise others, for behaving in a similar way. Minutes before, the couple had criticised another owner, for being unapologetic, for their dog, scratching another dog!!

It just conveys, people who take to a person, will absolutely tolerate all forms of behaviour (good or bad!!).  However, if people don’t know an individual or dislike someone,  they will  judge and blame them, for absolutely no reason at all!!  Situations may be entirely cirmcumstantial, so this does depend on someone’s regard, for another individual.
